• Discussions about loading and firing the wood kiln, and the artist’s approach to work and problem solving, as well as the importance of material and process

• Morning and afternoon demonstrations

• Lunch by Hinako Shapiro with attention to the presentation of food   and ceramics

• Each participant gets 6 pounds of studio clay to make 1 piece during the  workshop to be fired in 1 of 2 wood kilns. And 1 piece of bisqued work (cone 6-8, half cubic foot or less) may be brought to the workshop to be fired 

• Separately, kiln space is available @ $50.00 per cubic foot ( maximum of 2 pieces per cubic foot) 

• Pieces may be fired in the anagama tunnel kiln or small wood kiln depending on firing schedule

Workshops can be facilitated for groups of 10 or more
